Emergency 911 Center

The primary mission of the Laurens County E-911 Communications Center is to provide the vital and necessary communications link between the citizens and emergency service providers in Laurens County. The Center is staffed by:

  • Director 
  • Deputy Director
  • Training Coordinator
  • Operations Supervisor 
  • 4 Communications Supervisors
  • 19 Full Time and Part Time Communications Officers

Responsibilities

The Communications Center is responsible for dispatching:

  • Dublin Fire Department
  • Dublin Police Department
  • Dublin/Laurens County Animal Control
  • East Dublin Fire Department
  • East Dublin Police Department
  • Laurens County Emergency Medical Services (EMS)
  • Laurens County Fire Department
  • Laurens County Sheriff's Office

Safety Mission

The Communications Center is vital to our public safety mission as well as the safety of our officers. The Communications Center operates 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.
