Qualifying ReOpening for City of Dudley Election
Due to only two (2) Candidates qualifying for the three (3) City Council seats up for the November 4, 2025 General Municipal Election, qualifying will reopen. According to GA Election Code Section 21-2-132(c)(3)(b), the governing authority of the municipality shall be authorized to reopen qualifying for candidates at 9:00 A.M. on the Monday next following the close of the preceding qualifying period and cease such qualifying at 5:00 P.M. on the Tuesday immediately following such Monday.
Qualifying will be at the Laurens County Board of Elections & Registration Office at 117 E Jackson St., Suite A, Dublin, Georgia. Qualifying will be Monday, August 25, 2025 beginning at 9:00 A.M. until Tuesday, August 26, 2025 ending at 5:00 P.M. The qualifying fee for councilmembers will be $10.00.
